Jai Nitai Lotus:
This is the 11th out of 11, to wrap up the “Something You Feel Single Art Series.”
I am really proud of all this incredible art that my brother NB (overthebreaks) designed. He captured the intention of each song, and I am very honored that he took the time to do so. Please check out the series in its entirety and share the experience!
I love this one… My little angel taking flight. Fatherhood changed the shape of my music, and reminded me what my purpose is in music and life.
Thank y’all!
This is Universal Soul.
11 of 11 – The rap-up.
Love dichotomy.
Listen to the song here:
80’s hearts… We stand strong.
What do you get when several people step into the studio with little to no idea of what happens next? Enter Jai Nitai Lotus’s production, L.E.S. (who came up with his verse in record time), Karma Atchykah on the all-improvised background vocals with Sarah Linhares backing him up. All of that is topped with a live horn section by some of Montreal’s finest.
You get Heat Stew. Beat that.
Jai Nitai Lotus live radio set and interview on CISM 89.3 FM. All the songs performed can be heard off JNL’s “Something You Feel” album available at jainitailotus@bandcamp.com (except for ‘My People’, an Erykah Badu cover)

Love Won’t Be.
No visual could represent this better than the words themselves, big, bold, and broken. Backed by an eerie blues sample, this is what letting go sounds like.
Listen to it. Feel it. Who knows, this may even be the next single…
From Simahlak’s vaults to the world, this song is beyond powerful. It’s nearly impossible to stay seated during this one, that’s word to the Energizer bunny.
Build and destroy.
